Weekend Sales ~ Secondlife

 Shopping has always been such a therapeutic activity for me. I have always thought of it as a way to release stress. I like to pamper myself and shopping is one of the many ways I do so. 

Since I’ve returned to SL, I have enjoyed avatar and furniture shopping, especially when I see a store is on sale. I noticed that there are plenty of weekly sale events now. Back then, I remember there was just Fifty Linden Fridays, but now there are plenty others such as the Happy Weekend Sale and the Saturday Sale. Having such events allow you to save some Lindens, as well as allow you to find or try stores you didn’t even know existed. I have definitely found a few amazing stores that are on my favorites list now. 

Therefore, for today’s outfit, I have put together a few sale items I found from different stores. It’s something I would wear if I were to stroll around in a park or if I’m going to small café by myself. 

The dress I found is from Tres Blah called Elyse Dress. I believe this is from a previous Saturday sale round, but I saw it was still available in store (head on right over before the price changes!) It's a floral dress which hugs your torso, but flares at the bottom with its pleated skirt. Currently on sale for 75L and with 15 textures to choose from. 

The Hair is from Lamb which is just across the Tres Blah store. It's a half-up hairstyle with a texture changeable hair clip and soft curls. It has 4 styles and a bangs option (which I have on). 

My Necklace and bracelet are from Orsini, and is currently one of my favorite Jewelry stores in SL. It comes with a texture change hud which allows you to change both the metal and gems. 

When I saw this Sunny Collar necklace from Orsini, I immediately bought it, as it reminded me of some fond memories of my childhood. I was called Sunshine when I was growing up and "my song" was (obviously) "You are my Sunshine". I remember listening to the song back then, with my grandfather, and it just makes me smile. Even now, my mom and grandmother would remind me every time they hear it.
